Mission

The Mission of the Mountain Métis Council is to enhance the cultural, social and economic well being of our community. Our mandate is to establish partnerships with other government agencies and industry to fulfill our objectives.

We believe that each member of our community is valued. Through our dedication and volunteer activities our organization is successful. A significant amount of time and effort has been provided by the Council to develop and manage special programs and events to enhance our community.

Special regard is held toward our Aboriginal/Métis youth and elders and in overcoming cultural barriers that limit advancement of our people.
